Welcome, it’s nice to meet you!

My name is Kristi (they/them), a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist with extensive experience in various practice settings serving diverse populations as both a therapist and community-based social worker.

As an integrative and relational therapist, I combine techniques and theories from different therapy styles to suit your unique needs. This also includes bringing aspects of my lived experience as a queer non-binary, disabled, neurodivergent, COVID conscious human as well as creativity, humour, and playfulness into the therapy process.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I acknowledge that my practice is situated on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Anishinabek Nation, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Huron-Wendat, as well as any other Nations who cared for this Land (acknowledged and unacknowledged, recorded and unrecorded).

Tkaronto (Toronto) is subject of The Dish with One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, which is an agreement to peaceably share and care for the Great Lakes region. In accordance with this agreement and as a white settler/guest on this Land: I will not take more than what I need, I will leave something in the Dish for others, and I will not soil the Dish in the spirit of peaceful, mutual cooperation, and care. I acknowledge my privilege as a white settler whose ancestors chose to settle on this territory, which is not a privilege many people of the global majority have been allotted due to the forced displacement and enslavement of Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour from across the world.
